Meteorologist Majestic Storm has the forecast
Hey there, good Thursday morning to. I’m 4029 meteorologists, majestic storm, and today is an impact day for both Northwest Arkansas and the river valley. It is going to be much cooler today. We have another round of widespread and heavy rain, and while our severe weather threat isn’t zero, it is very low. Because mainly we don’t have the energy, we don’t have the fuel for those storms to take off because it is going to be cooler and that northerly air has settled in back behind yesterday’s cold front, so more dry conditions as far as the air is in place. You can see that it’s going to be *** very wet day. Here’s about mid-morning. On our Thursday, 50s across the board and at times the rain today is going to be coming down quite heavily. Here’s about 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Those daytime highs are just going to struggle today, really only rising into the 50s and 60s. And sure, we could see *** few of those storms pop up. We’ll be watching to see if they do get *** little stronger, but really again our concern for severe weather isn’t today, but rather it does pick up an intense. And it will heighten as we head into our Friday. Waking up Friday morning at 7 a.m., 50s and some 60s again, we’ll be watching for some storms to pop up and again, the fuel tomorrow will be much more increased compared to today. So we’ll see those warm temperatures, that south wind as well. So if any of these storms do get going, here’s even 5 o’clock for your Friday night. They will be capable of producing strong damaging winds, hail, and we do have *** tornado threat on Friday. And then as we’re heading into the weekend, Saturday, we’re not concerned about severe storms, but then our focus will change to the possibility of seeing flooding, even flash flooding. *** lot of rain moving in over the next several days.
