This week, Michigan diners can celebrate National Burrito Day with a comeback game and promotion at Chipotle.
Chipotle is bringing back the popular digital game to give away more than 150,000 Buy-One-Get-One free entrée codes ahead of National Burrito Day, the fast-casual Mexican chain
announced Monday.
“Last year, our Burrito Vault drove unprecedented fan engagement that resulted in our highest digital transaction day of all time,” Chris Brandt, chief brand officer, said in a news release. “Now, we are giving them another chance to crack the code and score more free burritos.”
Burrito Vault was played more than 2 million times in 2024 and prizes were claimed in under 20 minutes, Chipotle says. This year, the company is changing the winning code every hour to spread the prize drops throughout the duration of the game.

What is Chipotle’s National Burrito Day deal?
On Thursday, Chipotle will offer a $0 delivery fee promotion for Chipotle Rewards members at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada. The offer is good for orders on Chipotle.com, Chipotle.ca and the Chipotle app with the code DELIVER.

Orders must be a minimum of $10 USD or $12 CAD and a maximum of $200 USD/CAD, excluding taxes and fees, per Chipotle. The offer is not valid for catering or Burritos by the Box orders.

The Burrito Vault promotion is available now until Wednesday, April 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
How can you play Burrito Vault?
Chipotle Rewards members in the U.S. and Canada can play the Burrito Vault game. To access the game, visit UnlockBurritoDay.com.
To play, you try to guess the correct burrito order combination, ingredient by ingredient, to unlock the Burrito Vault, per Chipotle. Players will have four chances per hour, with the code changing each hour.
What are the Burrito Vault prizes?
Chipotle will offer the first player to unlock the Burrito Vault each hour free burritos for a year, the chain said.
Each hour, the company will offer 2,500 buy one get one free (BOGO) codes to the first players to unlock the Burrito Vault. A player can win one BOGO code during the promotion.

Chipotle Rewards members who unlock the vault after all the BOGO codes have been redeemed will receive 25 rewards points in the app while available, the chain said. A player can receive 25 rewards points one time during the promotion.
Who can play Burrito Vault?
Burrito Vault is available to legal residents of the 0 U.S. states, Washington D.C. and Canada ages 13 and older, Chipotle says. You must be a U.S. or Canada Chipotle Rewards member to play.
