Michigan State basketball plays 10-seed New Mexico in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Michigan State, the 2-seed in the South region, beat 15-seed Bryant University, 87-62, in the first round late Friday in Cleveland to advance in the tournament.

The win sets up a matchup with the Lobos, who beat 7-seed Marquette in Friday’s earlier first-round game.

Michigan State’s next game will take place at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

If the Spartans win that, they’ll advance to play the winner of Saturday’s matchup between 3-seed Iowa State and 6-seed Mississippi in the Sweet 16 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Friday.
