The Michigan State basketball team, the No. 2 seed in the South Region of the NCAA tournament, will face 10-seed New Mexico in a second-round game on Sunday, March 23 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

The game is scheduled to start at 8:40 p.m. ET.

MSU (28-6) is coming off a 87-62 win over Bryant in their first-round NCAA game on Friday. New Mexico (27-7) is coming off a 75-66 victory over 2-seed Marquette, also on Friday.

This will be the third meeting ever between the two programs, with MSU having won both of the previous two meetings. In their last meeting in 1985, MSU defeated the Lobos, 76-61, in the Lobo Classic.
