(KRON) — Reddit appears to be down Thursday afternoon. According to the Downdetector website, user reports of trouble with the platform have spiked. Users have reported problems with the website, app and server connection.

Of those users reporting problems, the majority — 48% — reported problems with the app. Another 41% reported problems with the website, while 11% reported server connection issues.

KRON4 attempted to log onto Reddit in the newsroom and received a message reading, “This page isn’t working right now.”

As of 12:48 p.m., Reddit said vita its status page that a fix had been implemented but that the site was still experiencing degraded performance. Reddit said it was monitoring the results of the fix and investigating the issue.

Reddit is a social news and entertainment platform that allows registered users to submit, share and rank content submitted by users. The company maintains its headquarters in San Francisco.
