Comedian and radio personality Jess Hilarious recently expressed her frustration with her co-hosts on The Breakfast Club in a candid Instagram Live session. Without directly naming Charlamagne Tha God or DJ Envy, Jess accused her colleagues of failing to support her during public criticism and keeping her out of the loop after her maternity leave.
Jess, who joined The Breakfast Club as the official third host in 2024, revealed she felt blindsided upon her return to the show. She specifically took issue with how the team handled her temporary replacement, Loren LoRosa, who filled in during her absence. Jess alleged that she was not properly informed about LoRosa’s involvement and felt unprotected when comedian Corey Holcomb mocked her for being temporarily replaced.
“We’re supposed to be a team, but nobody defends me when I’m being attacked online,” Jess stated. “I’ve stayed quiet for a long time, but now I feel played.”
Despite her grievances, Jess confirmed she is not leaving the show, nor has she been fired. She admitted she initially disliked LoRosa’s presence but later realized her frustration stemmed more from the show’s internal dynamics than from LoRosa herself.
Jess also referenced former Breakfast Club host Angela Yee, who departed in 2022. She suggested Yee deserved more credit for enduring the challenges of working on the show for over a decade. “Angela Yee wasn’t crazy like people made her out to be. There’s a reason she wanted to leave,” Jess remarked.
As tensions rise, fans are eager to see how the situation unfolds in upcoming episodes of The Breakfast Club.
