It hasn’t impacted his availability yet, but Auburn basketball’s Johni Broome isn’t 100% for the Tigers’ Final Four game with Florida in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday.
Broome, one of the premier players in college basketball, is dealing with a myriad of injuries. The Tigers star forward has been managing an elbow and ankle injury, both of which he suffered on the same play against Michigan State in the Elite Eight.
Broome has still been effective for the Tigers, but there were multiple instances where he limped or expressed pain toward his elbow in national semifinal against Florida. The 6-foot-10 forward has a brace on his elbow.
Broome finished the first half with 12 points and four rebounds, as Auburn led Florida 46-38 at halftime.
