JoJo Siwa is reflecting on her sexuality.
During the Tuesday, April 22 livestream of Celebrity Big Brother UK, the Dance Moms alum got candid about her sexuality. Siwa, 21, came out as LGBTQ in 2021 and has had a close friendship with housemate Love Island alum Chris Hughes throughout the season of CBB.
“I feel, like, so queer, do you know what I mean?” Siwa told Danny Beard, her costar and a RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alum.
“I think that’s the thing,” she continued. “I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, and I think being here I’ve realized: ‘Oh, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer.’ And I think that’s really cool.”

“I’m switching letters!” Siwa added. referring to the letters in LGBTQ. “I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q baby! That’s what I love about sexuality.”
“You are Q, honey. And you know that British people love a queue!” Beard responded.
The week prior, Siwa spoke about her gender identity. “You have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females, love them, don’t feel like I’m them. [I’ve] met a lot of males, love them, definitely not them,” she said while sitting with Hughes, 22.

“[I’ve] met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary, and these beautiful, non-binary people are who I feel most like, and it’s — I don’t know — it’s not something that I want to say about myself yet, but it’s something that is confusing.”
These realizations come after housemate Mickey Rourke left the reality show after he made inappropriate comments about Siwa’s sexuality. “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore,” Rourke, 72, said on the April 9 episode.
Siwa responded: “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.” Rourke is now pursuing legal action over alleged pay disputes and claiming that the series was “publicly embarrassing him.”

Siwa is currently dating influencer Kate Webbs, who went Instagram official with them in January. She told PEOPLE in March about their relationship, gushing about their “lovely” bond.
“I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it’s beautiful,” Siwa said during the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards red carpet. “It’s taught me so much about life. It’s taught me so much about love and respect, and it’s a beautiful thing.”
