LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A SWAT situation was reported Saturday evening in connection to the mass shooting at Young Park.
KFOX14/CBS4 camera crews spotted a large police presence in the area of Ridgeline Drive and Lennox Avenue, near the Icebox Brewing off of N. Main.
At around 6:30 p.m. the scene was cleared.
Not much information is known at the moment, but the Las Cruces Police Department has confirmed that the activity is related to Friday’s mass shooting that killed three people and injured 15 others during a car meet.
