Rapper and singer Lil Nas X is assuring his fans he is going to be OK after he was admitted into the hospital Monday, April 14.
The 26-year-old shared a video from his hospital bed Monday revealing that the right side of his face was paralyzed. (Warning: The link contains language some may find offensive.)
“We normal over here,” he said in the hospital showing the left side of his face. “We getting crazy over here,” he added showing the right side of his face.
“I’m so cooked,” he captioned the Instagram story post.

After posting the video, he shared a message with his fans, saying “Guys I am OK!! Stop being sad for me. … Imma look funny for a lil bit but that’s it.”
The following day, Tuesday, April 15, Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, shared another video from on his Instagram story.
“Okay, so a little update,” he said. “Like, I feel like this is already getting better. … Obviously, you can see this left side is like blinking. This right eye is keeping an eye out for Selener,” he said referencing Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s 2012 hit song, “Beauty and a Beat.”
“Like this is me trying to do a wink, like I can force it to shut, but like, baby girl over here, baby baby girl, she’s not,” he added.

Later, while rollerskating outside, Lil Nas X shared another video reassuring fans that he’s already “getting better. Y’all, I promise it’s gonna take a lot more than that to keep a bad (expletive) down. This, this eye wonky … but I’m not.”
The rapper didn’t publicly share why he was experiencing face paralysis.
