GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Strong storms are expected Monday afternoon with a moderate risk for severe weather, including tornadoes. Here are the latest live updates:
A tornado watch has been issued for much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Reports are coming in for quarter-size hail in the Windom area.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cottonwood, Jackson, Watonwan, and Brown counties until 3:45 p.m., with the potential for hail as well in excess of an inch. The storm is moving northeast at 60 mph.
A tornado warning has been issued for northwestern Cottonwood County and eastern Murray County until 3 p.m. There is also a severe thunderstorm warning in Jackson and Nobles counties until 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, a tornado watch is active for southwestern Minnesota. The watch is likely to later include the Twin Cities metro.
