Nora Aunor‘s wake services have been announced by her daughter, Lotlot De Leon, on Instagram Thursday afternoon.
Wake begins on Thursday April 17, The Chapels at Heritage Park will be open to Nora’s family from 7 p.m. until midnight. There will be mass at 8 p.m.
On Friday April 18, family and friends may offer their farewell to Nora from 1 p.m. until midnight. Mass will take place at 7 p.m.
Public viewing will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 19 & 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. From 5 p.m. until midnight, it will be exclusively be for Nora’s family and friends again. Mass will take place at 7 p.m.
On Easter Sunday, April 21, family and friends may offer their final farewell to Nora from 1 p.m. until midnight. Mass will be at 7 p.m.
Internment is scheduled on April 22 at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig.
State funeral details have yet to be announced as of writing.
Nora died on Wednesday at the age of 71. Her children, Ian De Leon, Lotlot De Leon, and Matet De Leon have confirmed it, with celebrities mourning the loss of the Superstar.
Nora was named a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022. She was known for her iconic roles in the films “Himala,” “Bona,” and “Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo.”
Her last films include “Mananambal,” where she starred with Bianca Umali, and “Pieta,” where she starred with Alfred Vargas.
