MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Over 300 buildings were damaged after an EF-3 tornado touched down in McNairy County earlier this week, the McNairy County Emergency Management Agency confirmed.

Damage in Selmer, TN
In an initial damage assessment conducted by the McNairy County EMA, it was determined that 332 structures were impacted by a tornado.
- 108 buildings were destroyed
- 70 sustained major damage
- 88 sustained minor damage
- 64 were affected by the damage
- Two homes were inaccessible at the time of the damage assessment
The EMA said they did not have a dollar amount of the damage, however, they will provide that information at a later time.
