Packers Big Board to start Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers drafted Matthew Golden, a dynamic wide receiver in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Packers now start Day 2 of the draft with the 54th and 87th overall picks. Let’s take a look at my Packers big board to start the day.

  1. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan: Johnson started Day 1 of the draft at the top of my big board and he’s still sitting there due to medical concerns. If the Michigan cornerback is still on the board at 54, will Brian Gutekunst roll the dice on a prospect that was viewed as a Top 15 player prior back in September.
  2. Shavon Revel Jr, CB, East Carolina: If Revel had been healthy all season, the East Carolina cornerback likely would have been a Top 20 pick. He’s a long cornerback and he’s an outstanding athlete.
  3. Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College: The Boston College edge rusher is on the lighter side (248 pounds), however, Gutekunst may be willing to bend the thresholds for the ACC Defensive Player.
  4. Mike Green, Edge, Marshall: Green is on the lighter side and has some off-the-field red flags. Having talked to his position coach at Marshall, it sounds like Green was a model citizen during his time in Marshall.
  5. Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri: Would the Packers take wide receivers with their first two picks? Probably not. If Burden falls to the Packers in the second round, Gutekunst may be tempted to add the most dangerous YAC threat in the class. The only wide receivers under contract beyond the 2025 season is Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. Adding Burden to that mix with Golden would give Love a lot of talented weapons.
  6. Nic Scourton, Edge, Texas A&M
  7. Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
  8. Landon Jackson, Edge, Arkansas
  9. JT Tuimoloau, Edge Ohio State
  10. Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
