There’s no rest for the weary as the Connecticut Sun return home for their second game in two days, taking on the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Sun (2-9) are coming off an 88-71 loss to the Indiana Fever last night in Indianapolis. Center Tina Charles led Connecticut with 20 points, while Caitlin Clark had 20 points and six assists for Indiana, despite getting shoved to the floor at one point during the chippy game.
Meanwhile, the Mercury (8-4) will have enjoyed two days of rest entering the contest, coming off their 76-70 road win over the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
