The best Auburn basketball team ever?

ATLANTA, Georgia – Auburn’s basketball team has an opportunity today to establish beyond question that it the best in program history. If the Tigers beat Michigan State in today’s South Region final at State Farm Arena and advance to the Final Four, there will be no doubt. None of Auburn’s previous SEC champions got beyond the Sweet 16. Auburn’s Final Four team finished fifth in the SEC regular season.

Today’s task is not easy. Michigan State is good. Tom Izzo is a Hall of Fame coach for a reason. Auburn will need to be at the top of its game. I look for this one to go down to the wire.
