Prince Andrew accuser reveals critical injuries in car crash: 4 days to live

Virginia Giuffre, who gained global attention as one of the primary accusers of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, revealed in a recent Instagram post that she was involved in a serious car accident and doctors have given her just “four days to live”.

The 41-year-old, who had previously alleged sexual trafficking by Epstein to Prince Andrew, claimed that she was suffering from “kidney and renal failure” following the collision, which she claimed was caused by a school bus driving at 110 km/h while she was slowing down to turn.

“They’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology,” she wrote in the Instagram post, sharing an image of her bruised face. Despite the grim prognosis, Giuffre expressed a desire to see her children “one last time”.

“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” referring to her three children with her former husband Robert Giuffre. “But you know what they say about wishes. S**t in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day,” she wrote.

The post also included a stark reflection on the nature of car accidents. Giuffre said that no matter the car’s build, a collision with a school bus travelling at high speed leaves little room for survival. “It might as well be a tin can,” she said, highlighting the force of the crash.

Giuffre thanked her supporters, acknowledging their positive impact on her life, saying, “Thank you for being the wonderful people of the world and being a great part of my life”.

However, the post did not provide specific details about the location or timing of the accident.

Giuffre’s representative, Dini von Mueffling, confirmed to CNN that she had been in a serious accident and was receiving medical care in the hospital, while appreciating the public’s support. “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending,” Mueffling said.

A source familiar with the situation told CNN that Giuffre was receiving treatment at a hospital in Australia’s Perth, and while her condition was serious, it was not deemed life-threatening.

Giuffre, who has long been one of the most prominent accusers of Epstein’s abuse network, gained prominence in 2019 after publicly accusing the financier of trafficking her and coercing her into sexual acts with his friends, including Prince Andrew, when she was 17 years old.

She alleged that the Duke of York was aware of her underage status during the encounters in the United States.

Prince Andrew has consistently denied these allegations. In 2021, Giuffre filed a lawsuit against him for sexual abuse, which was later settled in 2022 for an undisclosed sum. As part of the settlement, the lawsuit was dismissed, with both parties agreeing to resolve the matter out of court.

Epstein himself pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges of prostitution-related offences, and in 2019, he was indicted on federal charges related to sex trafficking of minors. His death in prison in August 2019, ruled a suicide, prevented him from facing trial for his numerous alleged crimes.
