Real Madrid Honor Diogo Jota and André Silva With a Minute of Silence in Palm Beach Training Session

In a gesture of respect and solidarity, Real Madrid paused their training session today at The Gardens North County District Park in Palm Beach to observe a minute of silence in memory of Portuguese footballers Diogo Jota and André Silva.

Before beginning their preparations for Saturday’s match against Borussia Dortmund, the Real Madrid squad — including all players and coaching staff — gathered in a circle on the training pitch. Under the leadership of head coach Xabi Alonso, the team stood silently, heads bowed, as they paid tribute to two lives tragically cut short.

Real Madrid also released an official statement expressing their condolences:

“Real Madrid C. F., its president and Board of Directors are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Liverpool FC player Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, who played for F. C. Penafiel.
