Is Rey Mysterio off the card tonight for WWE WrestleMania 41?

Last night on WWE SmackDown, Rey Mysterio seemingly injured his left knee during the six-man tag team match on the show and had to be carried to the back. While many fans believed this was a work to help sell his match this weekend against El Grande Americano, that isn’t the case.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the injury to Mysterio on SmackDown was 100% legitimate.

Johnson states that there’s no word on how WWE intends to handle his match this weekend with El Grande Americano.

In the case that Mysterio is unable to go, Johnson speculates that he could be replaced by Rey Fenix or Dragon Lee.
