  • Theekshana tries to keep it away from the right handers. Gill reaches out and lofts him over extra cover for a four. Low full toss now. Gill fails to clear long off. End of a fabulous knock.

Sandeep seems to have hurt his arm while trying to stop the ball. Buttler brings out a reverse sweep. Over short third for a four. 
  • Hasaranga fires one into Buttler’s leg side. Cracked over mid wicket for a six. Wide outside off now. Buttler jumps out of the crease before smoking it down the ground for another six. Short from Hasaranga. Pulled over deep mid wicket for another six. Titans upping the gear now. 
  • Yudhvir Singh back into the attack. Single to start the over, from Buttler. Full and straight. Lifted off the pads by Gill. Deep into the stands. SIX!! Gill slogs one to leg side. Parag with a diving effort to cut off a four. On the pads again. Clipped again. Six again. Gill cruising. 
  • Hasaranga with his third over. Buttler slams one down the ground to get a single. Gill flicks one to the leg side to add another single. Economical over from the leg spinner. 
  • Parag turns back to Sandeep Sharma. He beats Gill outside off to start with. Low full toss now. Spanked away for a flat six by Gill. Minimal bat swing, maximum output. 10 runs from the over
  • Theekshana back into the attack for RR. Pushes one into Sudharsan, who misses the slog. Caught at long on by Parag.

  • Hasaranga continues. Gill dabs one to the off side for a single to bring up his fifty. He continues his good form. Couple of quicker leg breaks from Hasaranga to close off the over. 
  • Yudhvir Singh returns and he gifts Gill a boundary by going down the leg side. Clicked away for a four. On the pads again. Pushed behind the square for a double. Short from Yudhvir. Pulled viciously over mid wicket for a six. 
  • Riyan Parag brings himself on right after the PowerPlay. Around the wicket to Gill. Clipped away to deep mid wicket. Easy double for GT there. Fuller one from Parag. Slog swept by Gill for the innings’ first six. Gill goes aerial again. Chance for Suryavanshi. Spilt after a full-length dive. Hasaranga into the attack now. Just seven runs from his first over. 
  • Sandeep Sharma into the attack now. Starts with a couple of dot balls. On the pads to Gill. Clicked away for a couple of runs by the Titans skipper. 
  • Length ball from Theekshana. Suadharsan punches it with conviction past mid wicket for a four. Superb timing! Sudharsan flicks one behind the square. Two more runs. 
  • Archer overpitches and Gill crunches it past him with a glorious straight drive. FOUR!! As good as it gets. Archer drifts onto Sudharsan’s pads. Clipped away for a four. GT off to yet another strong start.
