Schools announce delays ahead of Monday’s potential severe weather threat

Some North Alabama schools are announcing delays ahead of a round of potential severe weather moving into the area early Monday morning.

Schools operating on a delayed start Monday:

  • Albertville City Schools: Operating on 3-hour delay
  • Arab City Schools: Operating on 2-hour delay
  • Boaz City Schools: Operating on 2-hour delay
  • DeKalb County Schools: Operating on 3-hour delay
  • Fort Payne City Schools: Operating on 3-hour delay
  • Guntersville City Schools: Operating on 2-hour delay
  • Madison City Schools: Operating on 2-hour delay
  • Marshall County Schools: Operating on 3-hour delay
