Lady Gaga has found the romance of a lifetime with her fiancé Michael Polansky.
The singer and the businessman were first spotted kissing at a 2020 New Year’s Eve party in Vegas. Two months later, they became Instagram official after Gaga shared a photo canoodling with Polansky on a boat in Florida.
Throughout their relationship, the two have kept their love under the radar, but in 2024, Gaga sparked engagement rumors when she stepped out wearing a sparkler on her ring finger. During the Summer Olympics, she confirmed the proposal when she referred to Polansky as her “fiancé.”
Polansky has supported Gaga in her creative pursuits, and the Grammy winner even credits her fiancé with inspiring her to create a new, full-on pop record — Mayhem, which she released Friday, March 7.
“Mayhem came to be ultimately because Michael said, ‘You need to make a pop record,’ and he was right. I did, but I did not realize how afraid I was to make this record,” she recalled on her SiriusXM pop-up channel Gaga Radio.
In her cover story with Elle, Gaga also revealed that Polansky helped her pen seven songs for the album. For Polansky, being with Gaga has been “one of the most incredible parts of this chapter” of his life, he told the outlet.

A fishnet-clad Gaga cozied up with Polansky during Super Bowl weekend, after which the singer hard launched their relationship on Instagram.
“We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best! ❤️,” Gaga wrote in the caption.

She celebrated their love on Instagram a day after Valentine’s Day in 2020, wishing her fans a “happy v-day” and poking fun at her boyfriend in the caption.
“‘Babe, do I have lipstick all-over me?’😂,” she quoted him under the close-up selfie.

Gaga struck a dramatic pose as she held onto Polansky, while he looked at her with love in his eyes and an arm around her waist.
“Take yo mama out all night 😘💋,” she captioned the picture.

The couple quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the “Bad Romance” singer posted an Instagram update on day six of what would be a long stay-at-home mandate.
“Going strong, playing video games and cards, and taking care of ourselves,” she wrote under the selfie.
