Starbucks dropped an adorable Peanuts cup collection in May, and the nostalgic designs quickly went viral with coffee drinkers. Now, Snoopy is back on a limited-edition design, but there’s a major catch.

The cup has been popping up on social media with the exciting news that it’s free with purchase, and coffee drinkers on Tik Tok are sharing their finds. @millyt44 shared a video of the cup and wrote, “Starbucks are giving away free Snoopy reusable cups when you buy a grande iced drink! Only available 17th and 18th April.” The green-lidded cup features the lovable beagle wearing a green “Joe Kind” apron and holding two coffee cups.

She paired the video with this caption: “Snoopy girlies get down to Starbucks to get your free Snoopy cup when you buy a grande iced drink! ✨🥰 he’s so cute!!”

But, sadly, not all Snoopy girlies can get this cup. According to the comments, it is available in the U.K and Ireland, but the promotion is not happening in U.S. stores. One barista jumped in the comments section to say, “THIS IS NOT THE US .. please I’ve started answering the phone with ‘hello this is —- Starbucks , we do not have the snoopy cups how can we help you.'”

One person commented, “It’s only in the UK and some parts of Northern Ireland!!! So bummed out! Too cute.” Another wrote, “I just when in and asked for one 🥲🤣 no wonder they thought i was crazy 😭” A coffee drinker said, “Literally why can’t we just state where these promotions are taking place?? It would save a lot of people getting excited just to learn it’s not in their country.”

We reached out to Starbucks, and a representative for the company explained the promotion: “There is no reusable cup giveaway happening in the U.S. Participating stores in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be offering an exclusive Starbucks and Peanuts reusable cup to customers.” Starbucks offers more details on their website, but, unless you’re in one of the 4,700 locations overseas, we’re afraid out of luck on this one.
