Tornado Warnings expire in Southwest Missouri

UPDATE 10:45 AM – The National Weather Service will let the tornado warning in Wright County expire at 10:45 a.m. No other tornado warnings have been issued at this time.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a tornado warning in parts of Wright County until 10:45 a.m.

NWS says a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was spotted near Hartville, moving northeast at 55 mph.

The tornado warnings in Greene, Christian, Lawrence, Dade and Webster Counties have expired.

Much of Southwest Missouri is still under a severe thunderstorm watch until 3 p.m.
