British actor Simon Fisher-Becker, arguably best known for his roles as black marketeer Dorium Maldovar in the Matt Smith era of “Doctor Who,” and as the Fat Friar ghost in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” has died at the age of 63.

His death was announced by the actor’s husband on Facebook, with no cause of death or location revealed. Other credits include “Waterside, ” “Doctors,” “Puppy Love” and “Getting On”. [Source: Variety]

Lanterns

Nicole Ari Parker (“And Just Like That”) has scored a recurring role as Bernadette, mother of Green Lantern John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) in HBO’s DC Comics adaptation “Lanterns”. Kyle Chandler, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan and Ulrich Thomsen co-star.

The character is described as a formidable, tenacious and fiercely protective mother who has “worked her entire life to ensure that she and her family will not be passed over.” The series follows Hal Jordan (Chandler) and John as intergalactic cops investigating a murder in the American heartland. Dexter: Resurrection

Former “Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet has scored a high-profile guest-starring arc on “Dexter: Resurrection,” playing a midwestern character named Al who is believed to be a serial killer. Filming on the series has been underway since January.

He marks the third actor playing a potential serial killer in the series beyond the returning Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan. Also starring as killers are Krysten Ritter and Neil Patrick Harris, while Peter Dinklage and Uma Thurman co-star as a billionaire and his head of security respectively. [Source: Deadline]

Conan O’Brien Must Go

Hot off the rave reviews for his Oscars hosting gig, Max has renewed comedian Conan O’Brien’s Emmy-winning comedic travel series “Conan O’Brien Must Go” for a third season – two months ahead of the show’s second season premiere. The second season will see O’Brien visit New Zealand, Austria and Spain while the first saw him go to Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland. [Source: TV Line]

Suits LA

NBC has revealed a new promo for “Suits LA,” which finally reveals Gabriel Macht reprising his role as attorney Harvey Specter. Macht returns to the role in the upcoming fourth episode of the new run, which will be titled “Batman Returns” and air on March 16th.

The clip shows a scene that is reportedly a flashback to when Stephen Amell’s Ted Black was still playing amateur baseball in New York. In a bar, Specter begins interacting with them.
