Dustin Poirier looks to end his career with a win against the dangerous Max Holloway on July 19. “The Diamond” challenges Holloway at UFC 318 for the BMF Title. The fight in his home of Louisiana, at the Smoothie King Center, airs on ESPN+.

The 36-year-old Poirier (30-9, 1 NC) looks to end his career on his terms. The former interim champion is 2-2 in his last four contests and has competed in numerous title fights. Poirier is tied for multiple UFC records, and the Hall of Fame is calling his name.

First, he must get past Holloway (26-8), one of the most feared strikers in UFC history.

The Hawaiian is a former featherweight champion who holds the record for most significant strikes landed (3,706) in UFC history. He won the BMF Title following a dramatic buzzer-beater knockout win against Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.

Poirier is 2-0 against Holloway. Can he make it a clean sweep before taking off his gloves for good?

Also on the card will be Paulo Costa vs. Roman Kopylov, Kevin Holland in action, the return of Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, as well as former title contender Marvin Vettori.
