This is the UFC Vegas 105 live blog for Josh Emmett vs. Lerone Murphy, the featherweight main event for Saturday’s Fight Night card at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Emmett returns to action for the first time in 16 months. In his most recent appearance, the past interim title challenger delivered one of the most brutal knockouts in UFC history against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296 in December 2023. The victory snapped a two-fight losing streak following losses to Yair Rodriguez and Ilia Topuria. The Team Alpha Male fighter is set to make his 15th walk to the octagon.

Murphy hasn’t tasted defeat during his 16-fight pro career, which includes a 7-0-1 run in the UFC thus far. “The Miracle,” who competes in his second UFC headliner, is coming off of a decision victory over Dan Ige at UFC 308 this past October. Five months earlier, Murphy delivered a breakout showing in a lopsided decision win against Edson Barboza at UFC Vegas 92 in his first UFC headliner.
