The Golden State Warriors made easy work of the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday in what turned out to be a lopsided 148-106 victory for the Dubs.
This was thanks in large part to a concerted effort by the Warriors, who saw six players score at least 13 points in their 42-point annihilation of San Antonio.

The biggest performance of the day, however, came from Warriors stud Brandon Podziemski, who went off for 27 points (just two off his career high) on 9-of-14 shooting, to go along with six rebounds, five assists and a steal in just 27 minutes of play.
The 22-year-old caught fire from beyond the arc in this one as well. Podziemski knocked down seven out of his nine attempts from deep, which allowed him to make a bit of history on Sunday.

According to StatMamba, Podziemski is the second-youngest Warriors player to ever register at least seven three-pointers in a single game. The only other player who beats the second-year Warriors shooting guard in this category is none other than Steph Curry.

Curry is widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time, so for Podziemski to share this bit of history with the former back-to-back MVP is an absolute honor for the young Warriors guard.
More importantly, though, Podziemski’s big game helped lead Golden State to their second straight win as they continue to battle for positioning in the West.
After Sunday’s victory, the Warriors remain sixth in the West. They are, however, just two games behind the fourth-placed Los Angeles Lakers with eight games remaining in the regular season.
