What happened to Malik Monk? Live injury updates for Kings at Pistons 4/7/25

NBA DraftKings Network NBA Injury Report News

Kings SG Malik Monk suffered a calf injury during the first half of Monday’s game. See the latest injury updates here.

Kings SG Malik Monk will not return to Monday’s game against the Pistons. Per the Kings, he is dealing with left calf soreness.

Before exiting he only played six minutes, scoring two points and adding an assist. He was replaced in the first quarter by Zach LaVine. Look for Lavine and DeMar DeRozan to get more usage without Monk’s scoring.

This injury comes at a brutal time for Sacramento, as they battle with the Mavericks for the 9th seed in the West. We are only eight days away from the 2025 play-in tournament, so hopefully this injury is nothing serious.

Stay tuned to DK Network for live updates on his injury.
