Where to watch Man United vs. Wolves live stream, TV channel, start time, lineups for EPL match

Manchester United look to focus on improving on the league finish as they host Wolves at the Old Trafford on Sunday.

United’s midweek madness in Europe was pure box office—three goals in six minutes of extra time to stun Lyon and keep their season alive. But while the Europa League’s now the shiny distraction, the league form’s a bin fire.

No wins in three matches, 14th in the table, and just two points off officially calling this their worst-ever Premier League campaign. Amorim’s hinted at resting the big guns, so expect a few youngsters and a team with one eye on Thursday.

Wolves are the form team no one’s talking about—four wins on the bounce, including putting four past Spurs last week. Vitor Pereira’s got them believing, and with safety in sight, they can turn up and play with freedom. They’ve only won once at Old Trafford in the Premier League era, but this United side is beatable, especially when the mood dips. If Wolves bring their bite, they could absolutely rattle a fragile United.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Man United vs. Wolves predicted lineups, team news

With the Europa League semifinals set to commence at the start of May, it’s unclear how much Ruben Amorim will rotate his side to keep certain players fresh for European action.

However, he doesn’t have a ton of room to work with thanks to a number of injuries in key areas, including at the back where Man United are without Lisandro MartinezMatthijs de Ligt, and Jonny Evans. Martinez is out for the season with a torn ACL, de Ligt needs a few more weeks, and Evans is back in training but not ready to return. However, Noussair Mazraoui, who was brought off at halftime of the Lyon match, and Victor Lindelof are both available for selection after they dealt with “personal issues” midweek.

Also done for the season are Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo, meaning a visibly frustrated Rasmus Hojlund should get another shot to reverse his miserable goal-scoring form.

Man United predicted XI (3-4-3, right to left): Onana (GK) — Mazraoui, Maguire, Lindelof — Dalot, Mount, Ugarte, Shaw — Fernandes, Hojlund, Garnacho.

Injured: L. Martinez (ACL), de Ligt (ankle), Evans (fitness), Zirkzee (hamstring), Diallo (ankle).

Suspended: None.

Wolves have been decimated by injuries this season, losing the likes of Yerson MosqueraEnso Gonzalez, Sasa KalajdzicLeon Chiwome, and Pedro Lima for the foreseeable future. Hee-Chan Hwang has seen his season dotted with fitness concerns and is a doubt after picking up yet another muscle problem, while goalkeeper Sam Johnstone remains sidelined.

Jean-Ricer Bellegarde was brought off just before halftime in the recent win over Tottenham, and while his knock is not believed to be serious, he remains a doubt for this weekend. Matt Doherty was also hauled off early and his status remains unclear.

Matheus Cunha scored off the bench in last weekend’s victory but could be recalled into the lineup for this game. He is set to depart the club at the end of the season but will leave in good graces having played a starring role in Wolves’ bid for Premier League safety.

Wolves predicted XI (3-4-3, right to left): Sa (GK) — Bueno, Agbadou, Gomes — Semedo, Gomes, Andre, Ait Nouri — Munetsi, Cunha, Sarabia.

Injured: Mosquera (knee), E. Gonzalez (ACL), Chiwome (ACL), Johnstone (muscle), Lima (ankle), Kalajdzic (ACL), Hwang (muscle, doubt), Doherty (knock, doubt), Bellegarde (knock, doubt).

Suspended: None.
