Needing depth in the secondary, The Packers are signing former Las Vegas cornerback Nate Hobbs to a four-year deal. Hobbs has often played the nickel position while with the Raiders, but the Packers apparently are willing to move him outside and pair him with former Raiders teammate Keisean Nixon.

The signing also fuels speculation that Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander will play somewhere other than Green Bay next season.
