Winning Mega Millions ticket worth $112 million sold in Northeast Ohio

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Check your tickets because one lucky person in Northeast Ohio is holding a big winner after Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

A jackpot ticket worth $112 million dollars was sold in South Euclid, according to the Ohio Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at the Giant Eagle at 4401 Mayfield Rd. in South Euclid. The winning numbers were 5-13-15-17-28, and the Mega Ball was 1.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize. They can choose the annuity prize paid over 30 years or take the cash option of $49.3 million.

This is the first jackpot-winning ticket sold since the new Mega Millions game launched on April 5.

Since joining Mega Millions, Ohio has had 21 jackpot winners and 65 second-tier winners of $1 million or more.
